PREPARATION: 1hr 10min ~ COOK: 45min ~ READY IN: 2hrs
- To make the brioche dough warm together the milk and butter in a pan over medium-heat until it is at 35 degrees celsius and then add in the yeast, egg yolks and sugar and whisk to combine, leave to activate yeast for about 5 minutes. Mix yeast mixture in with the flour and knead to form a soft dough. Set in a warm spot to proof for an hour.
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees celsius.
- Once the dough finished proofing, roll out to a rough square, spread over with the butter, then sprinkle over the sugar and then the raisins. Roll tightly, slice into 1inch thick rounds, bake for 45mins.
