INGREDIENTS (SERVES 4)
400g roasted nuts
salt to season
Preheat oven to 160 degrees.
Splash some water on your baking tray then line your tray.
Start by making the caramel. Add sugar and water into a pot, ensuring all the crystals have fallen into the liquid, turn the heat on and bring to the boil. Once boiled add the roasted nuts, stir so they are all covered in the syrup and bring back to the boil. Once boiling strain the nuts into a mesh sieve and place on the baking tray. Put in the oven and cook for 15 minutes but keep a close eye on them to ensure they don't burn.
Take them out of the oven and season with a pinch of salt and they are ready to eat.
