BRAISED BEEF BRISKET
- Preheat the oven. Heat oil in a large flameproof casserole over a medium / high heat. Add brisket, onion and garlic. Cook until brown all over and onion is coloured.
- Add rosemary, bay leaves, Ardmona Tomatoes, and salt, and stir, cooking for 1 minute. Add balsamic vinegar, sugar, stock and bring to the boil. Cover and place into the oven and cook for 5 hours checking occasionally making sure that the liquid level is reasonable high.
