MUSTARD GLAZED HAM
- Pre heat oven 180°C.
- Place cola, thyme, KEEN’S Mustard Powder, brown sugar, soy sauce, honey, orange marmalade, garlic, ground ginger, ground cloves and salt in a saucepan over a low / medium heat. Cook for 20 minutes or until it reduces and becomes thick.
- Use a small sharp knife to cut around the ham shank. Carefully run knife under the skin around the edge of the ham. Gently lift off the skin in one piece by running your fingers between the rind and the fat and discard. Using a small sharp knife score the fat in a diamond pattern, making sure you don’t cut to deep.
- Place ham not a lined baking tray. Brush ham with glaze and place into the oven and bake for 1-1½ hours base ham every 15 - 20 minutes with remaining glaze.
