APRICOT AND BANANA TARTS
INGREDIENTS (MAKES 2)
2 puff pastry sheets cut into large circles
4 bananas cut into centimeter thick slices
1 cube of butter, melted
raw sugar to garnish
apricot jam to garnish
Preheat oven to 200 degrees.
On a lined baking tray place the pastry rounds on top. Fill the pastry with the banana placing it 2cm from the edge and crimp over the edges. Brush the banana with the melted butter and sprinkle with sugar. Cook in the oven for 20 minutes.
Once your tart is out of the oven spoon some apricot jam on top and then back in the oven for a further 5-10 minutes.
