SEAFOOD SEDUCTION ABALONE WITH CHILLI
PREPARATION: 15min ~ COOK: 5min ~ READY IN: 20min
- Remove the abalone meat from the shell, remove the head and abductor muscle. Place into a plastic bag. Using a mallet beat the abalone to tenderise it.
- Into a hot pan add a drizzle of oil and butter and cook until foamy. Add the chilli, and garlic and sauté approximately 1 minute.
- Add the abalone to the pan whole face down and cook approximately 1 minute, turn the abalone over and cook for a further minute before cutting it up in the pan. Cook for one more minute.
- To serve put the abalone back in its shell to serve.
